They Came, They Dug, They Left
While I was down in Amherst today Clark Excavating came and made a path and dug a pit for the drilling rig. Not sure what day the drilling will be...but...the process has begun. Oh, yes, they did put a silt screen between the pit area and the wetlands. Phew!
Now possibly delayed until Monday or evenTuesday b/c of the below zero tems. They are drilling...nearby.... here in town...but everything is going very slowly.....blah!
Located in Western Massachusetts, I am a college instructor and Associate Director of Community Service Learning at UMass Amherst. In addition, I am an artist of the garden and home including: designing, creating, implementing and up-cycling for interior and exterior spaces. My work often includes assemblage with altered, recycled and found objects. For me, the hunt for materials is a huge part of the creative process. I am married and have grown children: a daughter and son-in-law and a son and daughter-in-law. I have two dogs, Chloe and Mia and 2 cats, Arthur and Merci. All of our pets are rescues. The most recent arrival is from an awesome rescue in Tennessee, A Place to Bark - google it!
