On Saturday afternoon we went to Spring Green, WI and had a 2 hour tour of Frank Lloyd Wright's home there, Taliesin. This is just one small part, at the entry way and entry garden. It is over 25,000 sqare feet...huge, sprawling and very unique. The original building goes back to 1911. He was way ahead of his time in many ways. He was also quite eccentric....that's putting it mildly.

Many famous people were entertained at this home. He also owned about 5000 of the surrounding acres (his family was from this town). The Taliesin foundation curently owns about 500 acres. It is very beautiful.
